Ward Manufacturing was having some trouble keeping up with high demand rate and not enough production, so they gave States Engineering a call. They installed (2) high volume, high speed prepared sand 30” wide triple brush aerators on our prepared sand delivery belts. These unique pin style aerators designed by States Engineering have resulted in an overall minimization of voids and air pockets around our green sand molding line patterns. This process improvement has provided Ward Manufacturing with increase in production castings and less downstream finishing yielding significant productivity improvements.
