Single Brush Aerator
The complete assembly consists of the brush assembly, V-belt drive with TEFC motor, heavy steel frame and housing, belting support plates and asjustable support mountings. The aerator brush is extremely long wearing and consists of States’ exclusive hardened annealed spring steel sprigs that are secured in cast hubs to form a high density brush assembly. High speed rotation of the brush imparts severe shearing and cutting action to the sand for maximum mixing, uniformity and flowability. To increase sand cutting life, the brush assembly is mounted on an adjustable frame which can be lowered as the sprigs wear. The aerator brush assembly is designed for the easy replacement of the sprigs, if necessary. A rubber curtain at the inlet and discharge openings contains the sand and minimizes dust and moisture loss. A simple V-belt and 1200 RPM TEFC motor is included for the unit ans requires very little maintenance. Electrical controls consist of a stater with push buttons mounted in a NEMA-12 dust tight enclosure. The aerator housing is constructed of heavy plate steel and angles for continuous duty operation. Exposed surfaces are protected with primer and then painted with one coat of machinery enamel.
