Trenchveyors
STATES TRENCHVEYOR
The States TrenchVeyor is an excellent means of handling spill sand or shakeout foundry sand up to 39 TPH. It features a highly efficient drag chain to convey spill sand under any automatic molding machine. TrenchVeyor can also be located under squeezer stations as well. It needs only a simple 23” wide x 25” deep pit or a 48” depth pit under automatic molding machines. Eliminating the expensive, oversized pits required by belts and oscillating pan conveyors for cleanup and maintenance.
Traveling, dump-shakeout servicing pallets or roller conveyor lines can be unloaded directly into the TrenchVeyor drag chain. Which consist of a series of drag flights spaced on 13” centers and attached to two strands of heavy-duty x458 chain. To convey 4” of sand at 10-20 feet per minute.
At the head and tail sections are two large diameter chain sprockets with roller bearings and shafts. The main head drive sprocket is driven by a worm gear reducer and features a shear pin sprocket to prevent overload. The motor is V-belt coupled to the worm gear reducer, which can be located above or below the floor.
The TrenchVeyor will load bucket elevators, other TrenchVeyors, belt conveyors, and oscillating pan conveyors. And can be designed with above floor discharge.
